Tree Pollarding Thorpe Bay
Tree Pollarding in Thorpe Bay is usually performed as a last resort.
It involves removing the entire crown of a tree to leave only the main trunk system. It is common practice along roadsides to pollard trees, but on a domestic level it is more often advised to remove a tree and re-plant it somewhere else rather than pollard.
Although not always the best option, sometimes tree pollarding becomes the only way to retain a tree that may have been allowed to out-grow a given area in Southend.
